The Firm makes every effort to represent the client in the most cost-effective way possible. In this regard, several steps are carried out from the first meeting in order to optimize each file :
- working on the file as a team from the first meeting;
- taking notes on the computer ;
- active participation of the client in the file and in developing a strategy;
- maximum transparency between the Firm and the client;
- utilization of the latest research technology;
- emphasis on settlement;
- a tailored fee agreement in the first meeting.
Mr. WITT will address the issue of fees from the first consultation in order to avoid any later surprises or hidden costs.
For information, a fee agreement based exclusively on success fees is forbidden in France albeit not in the USA.
A success fee is a fee charged for a lawyer's services only if the lawsuit is successful or is favorably settled out of court.
